La Boheme
With this quirky Moulin Rouge poster, and a photo of Maggie Gylenhall in Monmartre attitude, in mind, I noticed a few examples of turn of the century boheme on the fall '07 runways:
Long, mystique, and bedecked with a top hat at Wunderkind. I was impressed especially by the hair and makeup at this show. Along with Paris in the early 1900s, A few peices brought to mind London in the time of Jack the Ripper...in a good way.
Streetwalking chic at John Galliano. Really, isn't this what we all want to see from JG? Fashion needs more showmanship.
